AP Human Geography Unit

Year: 2018, with annual updates.

Challenge:

A social sciences teacher wanted to update her paper-based unit on Folk & Popular Culture with engaging digital activities. I developed online modules that included an interactive mapping activity, retrieval practice, drag and drop matching, and discussion boards. Design Document available upon request.

Teacher and students were pleased. From the teacher: "Working with Pam on this unit has added spark, energy, and relevance to the curriculum. It allowed for more self-directed learning by the students and allowed me to work with students who needed more individual attention. Ultimately, the Rise unit was clearly organized, comprehensive, student-centered, interactive and clearly addressed the objectives of learning.
